As always my accentuation is impeccable service and great looking hair and now I must also ensure the safest environment for you. To prepare for my re-opening, I have completed the BARBICIDE COVID -19 CERTIFICATION. Additionally, I will be implementing the following enhancements:

As always my accentuation is impeccable service and great looking hair and now I must also ensure the safest environment for you. To prepare for my re-opening, I have completed the BARBICIDE COVID -19 CERTIFICATION. Additionally, I will be implementing the following enhancements:
1. Booking only one client in the studio at a time (the only exception being same family members)
2. Adding an extra 15 minutes between each appointment to ensure I can sanitize all common areas between each client.
3. I will be using the cleaning fluid SANIBLEND RTV which is approved for use against COVID-19.
4. As per before, all towels capes etc. will continue to be fresh single use.
5. Every client must wear a face mask as I must, I will meet you at the door and supply you with a new mask when you arrive. Please use the hand sanitizer right at the front entrance. Due to shampooing and colouring applications I will require you to wear the mask I provide so I do not have to concern myself about damaging your property.
6. The doors to Sola will be locked and you may only gain access by me opening the door so please text me at # 905-302- 6465 to let me know when you are at the door at your prescribed appointment time.
7. Following Public Health Guidelines we are not allowed to provide beverages nor have magazines etc. available, however you may bring your own.
8. I would appreciate you arriving at your appointment on time.
9. To help to alleviate some of the extra business costs I will be adding a COVID-19 surcharge of $3.00 which is a per person charge. Obviously as soon as we are able to remove these restrictions I will remove the surcharge.

My Story
My Career Journey
I found my calling at the age of 17 in London England, when I was hired part-time at the hair salon in one of the world‘s most famous stores, Harrods. My career advanced as I moved on to bigger opportunities in salons and honed my skills through representing major hair product manufacturers, L’Oréal and Wella, on stage and at private hairdressing education classes. After deciding to relocate to Toronto, I joined the well-known Robin Barker at the Hairforce salon. My time with Robin allowed me to learn about the high-end Toronto market, styling many local CITY-TV and CTV personalities and celebrities. Additionally, we operated a private academy teaching advanced hair techniques to participants from across Canada and the United States, while I continued to represent L’Oréal.
When I became a father, I decided to move to Oakville and worked as a General Manager and head stylist at a salon group and at the same time became very involved in a professional hairdressing organization, The Guild of Hair Design. In April 1992, I opened my own hair salon, BobRshop, which during my 25 years, was recognized as one of the most highly rewarded salons in Oakville. During this time, I also represented other product manufacturers, including Trevor Sorbie and Scruples, in both shows and seminars, and became a regular contributor to B Magazine.
The opening of bob R hair studio is the next step in my journey; one that I am so very excited about. I am thrilled to be able to concentrate solely on my clients, providing them with an excellent, memorable experience. For my existing clients, I look forward to seeing you again, and for those that are new, I look forward to meeting you.
